Must be seen to be  believed. That is a 100yds to the  sea beach, real wow factor! Wildlife on your door step Wild parrots, pelicans, dolphins,  ray, manitee and many other  shore birds including; terns,  plovers, ibis, spoonbills, storks,  the beautiful snowy egret and the great heron, all abound on the 8  mile long barrier island that is  Siesta Key  Beaches Access to the main public beach  is right across the road from  White Sands Village, just 5  minutes away. Not far away is  Crescent Beach and at the south  end of the key is Turtle Beach  and South of  that is Palmer  Point Beach.
Siesta Key is a barrier island   accessed by two bridges, the north  and south bridges and then  there are some 50 miles of canals and  waterways within the island itself;  fishing heaven. Temporary docking is  available at several local restaurants,  White Sands Village has its own boat  dock available and there are many  Marinas offering charters, guided  tours and boat rentals. Climate   Winter is the prime season in  Southern Florida, where  temperatures ordinarily range 71-77   F/22-25 C during the day and 50-60  F/10-16 C at night. Summer months  are in the 80’s, and a whole lot more  humid and the sea warm a most  welcoming matching temperature.  Night life Most of this will be found in Siesta  Village on its Ocean Boulvard, just 1  mile up the road, where there is a  great selection of lively bars and  pubs. To mention a couple, you have; the Daiquiri Deck, the Beach Club or  the Oyster bar. A popular and  atmospheric weekly beach event,  each Sunday evening, is the Siesta  Key Drum Circle; a great way to  watch the sun go down. If you  manage to party through the night  there are even a couple of great  places to breakfast, such as the  
Broken Egg or the Village Cafe. Sarasota  Just across the bridge, enables one  to exbpand ones cultural and dining  options, including theatre, galleries  and fine diniing.
